The Do228 has various cabin layouts that can be individually adapted to your mission requirements.
Optimal layout
The rectangular cross-section of the cabin was designed with the user and their mission in mind and allows for the installation of equipment, even large operator consoles. It also offers the crew a high degree of mobility and comfort in the cabin and ensures a safe route for crew evacuation in an emergency. The long cabin can easily accommodate multiple workstations and observer seats, which also allows for longer missions.
Superb versatility
The cabin can be equipped with various combinations of forward and side facing seats; double stretcher as well as intensive care stations. Passenger seats can also be installed. The MedEvac layout may be easily combined with trooper and paratrooper transport layout. There are various cabin variants that can be configured according to customer requirements.
Impressive cargo capacity
The seats in the Do228 cabin can be quickly removed to convert it for cargo transport. The Do228 can carry over 2,200 kg of cargo. To facilitate loading, the normal passenger door can be opened sideways, creating a large opening for goods. This also allows loading by forklift.
