The exceptional wing design is the key component for the Do228 NXT's first-class performance, as it ensures optimal, undisturbed airflow. The optimized wing shape keeps secondary drag to a minimum. The box-shaped structure and advanced manufacturing process ensure maximum reliability. The Do228's wing structure was developed over 40 years ago and has proven itself in service worldwide. It is known for its unparalleled aerodynamic efficiency, exceptional performance, and low fuel consumption, coming very close to a “supercritical wing profile.” It enables a wide speed range from 240 KTAS to 80 KTS approach speed. The Do228 NXT wings and other key components are manufactured at our facility.
