A powerful engine

The Do228 NXT is powered by the Honeywell TPE-331-10, a single-shaft engine known for its compact size, high efficiency, quick response, and short acceleration time—making it one of the best on the market. The Do228's outstanding performance has been significantly improved by upgrading to a 5-blade composite propeller in conjunction with the fuel-efficient TPE331-10 engine. This combination provides increased performance and greater operational capabilities across the entire flight profile.

General Atomics AeroTec Systems is an authorized maintenance center for Honeywell TPE-331 engines.
