Optimal equipment for medical evacuations

The MedEvac equipment of the Do228 was developed to cover various aspects of operation. It consists of compatible and interchangeable modules that enable quick changes and case-specific setup for everything from pure transport to intensive care of patients. The cabin ceiling and walls of the Do228 in this configuration meet MedEvac hygiene requirements and are fitted with polycarbonate covering with a washable surface for disinfection. The cabin floor is protected by a special washable anti-slip coating that protects the aircraft from contamination and prevents slipping. The cabin can be equipped with various combinations of forward- and side-facing seats and a double stretcher, as well as intensive care units.
