The well-proven Do228 construction

The fuselage of the Do228 NXT is designed to offer maximum stability with low weight. The structure of the Do228 NXT fuselage is a conventional aluminum construction (non-pressure-loaded fuselage). Its robust design makes the fuselage suitable for flights in extreme conditions, such as in Arctic regions or on unpaved runways.

It has a rectangular cross-section, which makes optimal use of the interior space and allows for flexible configurations – from passenger to cargo versions. The shape creates additional space for passengers and mission equipment. The fuselage of the Do228 NXT is manufactured in Europe.
