Together with Linden P. Blue, we met today with Bavarian Minister-President Dr. Markus Söder to discuss the future of aviation and emerging high technologies in Bavaria.

General Atomics AeroTec Systems is firmly established within Bavaria’s aerospace ecosystem through our operations in Oberpfaffenhofen. With the renewed production of the Do228 NXT, we are once again manufacturing a special-mission aircraft here in Bavaria and creating long-term industrial value at the site.

At the same time, we want to further develop Oberpfaffenhofen as a location for future aviation technologies. This also includes Collaborative Combat Aircraft. Our approach combines existing technological maturity with the opportunity to build further development, systems integration and additional industrial value creation in Bavaria and Europe.

The growing fusion ecosystem in Germany and Bavaria was another topic of our discussion. General Atomics brings decades of scientific and technological experience in this field and is looking at how we can contribute even more strongly in the future.

We thank Minister-President Dr. Markus Söder for the open and constructive exchange.
