We’re excited to announce that General Atomics AeroTec Systems has entered into a strategic partnership with Wetzel Aviation as strong local sales partner for the North America region. GA-ATS Managing Director, Florian Rohe met with Wetzel Aviation's CEO, Jim Riner and President, Bryon Mobley at the Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany headquarters.
The aim of the cooperation is to strengthen awareness of the new Do228 NXT as a versatile multirole aircraft in the United States and Canada. Wetzel Aviation is an International Aircraft Resale Association Accredited Dealer and has many years of experience supporting business & special mission aircraft sales and has in-depth knowledge of the North American market.
More than 15 different operators in Canada and the USA have used Do228 aircraft for a wide variety of missions.
In North America, the Do228 NXT has a wide range of applications including as a feeder aircraft to small regional airports, STOL operations and missions on unpaved runways and difficult environments, and in numerous special mission operations for border surveillance, reconnaissance and paratrooper roles.
